A14 Upgrade Trees National Highways’ Report

As a non expert I think that the failure rate in the below review will have significantly increased since this report was published in the early summer, trees which were just surviving a couple of months ago are now gone.

800,000 trees have been planted but fewer than 30% of those have survived, this is from a project which described itself as the most environmentally friendly highways project ever.

Below are two National Highways presentations from early summer.

There is another report to follow. If these reports make you want to take action in any way writing to your MP is a good start as this was a National Infrastructure Project – ie government. Copying in the local newspaper might be a good idea. Lucy Frazer, MP is now Minister of State for Transport.
