Coronavirus (COVID-19): what to do

We seem to be waiting for something bad to happen whilst at the same time we’re hoping for the best. So far the UK government is in ‘don’t panic, be sensible’ mode but lots of people are worried and think there’s more to be done.

In the meantime the Government is sharing up to date information on its web-site (click here for the link) and this is being updated daily. Most news web-sites also carry lots of information including useful Q & As.

There are useful guidelines about what individuals can do to protect themselves and others on the World Health Organisation web-site (click here).

For anyone who wants up to date statistics click here but beware of over-interpreting the data in favour of your own particular opinion. Public Health England also provides interesting epidemiological information (click here)

If your like me and worried about a forthcoming holiday you’ve got to hope that either the situation gets better soon or that the Foreign & Commonwealth Office advises against travel to your destination. If you’re stuck in between then you may be stuck with a holiday you don’t want.
