Highways England’s construction works to upgrade the A14/B1049 junction are now underway. Unfortunately there are no plans to improve the junction for cyclists and pedestrians. Millions of pounds are being spent, the slip roads will be wider and traffic speeds will be higher, and yet little consideration has been given to the other users of this junction.

The purpose of this survey is to gather data to enable us to make the case to Highways England for making improvements.
