Cllrs James Rixon and Ros Hathorn met with part of the regional management team for Youngs Breweries, the brewery company who own The Red Lion, Histon first thing Monday morning this week.

Rumours had been circulating across the villages about future plans for the pub. Youngs confirmed their support for The Red Lion and their belief that the character of the pub is what makes it special. We are really lucky in Histon and Impington to have so many excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes and it is great to hear support for what we have here.
